I teach tarot workshops in Seattle and give teleclasses over the telephone.
Workshops are held at the Wallingford Center in Seattle on Sundays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. You must have your own tarot deck.
In the Introductory workshop, we learn the power behind the major cards in a tarot deck, how to understand and interpret the Emperor, the High Priestess or the Fool. We also learn three-card readings, and how the cards speak to each other and affect the meaning of the reading.
In the Introductory workshop, part II, we study the basics of the four suits of the minor cards -- wands, swords, pentacles and cups. We look at how the minor cards mix with the major cards for a more dynamic reading.
In the Introductory workshop, part III, we study the structure of a full reading, how each position has a meaning, each card has a meaning and how these different meanings come together. We’ll also explore how each card in the reading is affected by its nearby neighbors.
In themed workshops, such as the Artists Tarot Workshop, we access the major cards to explore what spirit wants to tell us about our art. We also use the tarot to explore specific art projects -- short story, character in a novel, photography session, sculpture pieces.
